Hi! I'm Mandy from Germany 🇩🇪✈️

I love travelling and discovering different countries, cultures and traditions. Japan has a very special place in my heart, and I travel there regularly. I especially enjoy exploring places beyond the typical tourist spots, trying local food and learning more about everyday life and traditional culture.

In my free time, I enjoy Japanese arts and crafts such as mizuhiki, origami, tsumami zaiku, sashiko and temari. I also practice Kyudo (Japanese archery) and I'm learning Japanese, French and improving my English.

Other things I love include anime, photography, cute animals (especially rabbits 🐰), matcha, traditional festivals, beautiful stationery and, of course, travelling.

For me, postcards are more than just something to collect. I love the idea that a little piece of someone's everyday life can travel across the world and end up in my mailbox.

I'm also very open to making new friends here. If we enjoy exchanging postcards and getting to know each other, I'd be happy to become long-term penpals and exchange letters too. 💌
