I live in Suzhou, a city in China that’s neither too big nor too small—it has everything! From classical Suzhou gardens to bustling financial centers, I really enjoy life here.

As my name suggests, I love all kinds of apple-related foods: apple pie, apple juice, apples in mulled cider… though cinnamon apple-flavored ice cream is really gross 🥹.

About me:

· I have a 12-year-old black poodle at home. He was a breeding dog until we adopted him at age 4. He’s a shy little gentleman.
· I also have a little turtle, now 2 years old and still tiny. He loves eating shrimp the most.
· I absolutely adore animals! I once dreamed of becoming a veterinarian or going to remote areas to help protect animals. My favorite animals are dogs and koalas!
· I tend to lose interest quickly in things, but I enjoy the process (electric guitar/bass/guzheng/skateboarding…).
· I love traveling and exploring—every corner of the world is fascinating!
· I’m a huge TV series fan—American, Japanese, Korean dramas, you name it! Recently, I’ve been watching the mystery American show Bones. I also love sitcoms like The Big Bang Theory, Friends, and Modern Family. For Japanese dramas, I enjoy First Love, 5-ji kara 9-ji made, Silent, Old Fashion Cupcake, MIU404, Unnatural, and more. For Korean dramas, I’ve just finished Goblin.
· I’ve watched quite a bit of anime too—Detective Conan was my childhood favorite. Recently, I’ve been watching Golden Kamuy, Pokémon, and Gintama.
· I read a lot as a child. My all-time favorite is The Thorn Birds! Others include A Man Called Ove, My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry, Pride and Prejudice, Journey Under the Midnight Sun, The Count of Monte Cristo, Anxious People, Ordinary World, and many more I can’t remember 😣.
· I’m a huge Disney fan! I have tons of pins and merchandise at home. My favorite characters are Duffy and Winnie the Pooh!
