Hello! My name is Hannah. I'm 33 years old. I am originally from southern California, growing up just a short walk from Disneyland. After that, I also lived in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Nevada. My husband and I moved to Japan 7 years ago and have no regrets about making the big move. I spent 4 and a half years in beautiful Hokkaido, and now we live in Shizuoka Prefecture, home of Mt. Fuji.

I'm a teacher, and now in my 12th year teaching. I've taught many different grade levels over the years, but I'm currently teaching 1st grade!

I love spending time in nature, especially in the mountains. I've been a bug lover all my life. My dream as a kid was to become an entomologist. I also really enjoy bird watching and learning about and collecting rocks and minerals. Basically, hiking with me is a very slow journey as I stop to look at every rock, plant, bug, and bird. Haha. I love traveling and enjoy exploring new places, going to the theatre and museums, and doing cross stitch and embroidery. I'm currently stitching a large Lord of the Rings project that's occupying a lot of my time. I also love building Lego sets while watching Star Trek. I have a lot of nerdy interests and I don't mind that label one bit.

I especially love illustrated postcards. I like all styles of art that are created by actual humans- drawn, painted, digital art, etc. Anything related to any of my above interests is fantastic. I also like landscapes and cityscapes, animals, travel posters, national parks, or anything related to the local culture. I'm easy to please and I'll just be happy to hear from you. :)
