Moin moin!
I send mostly from Germany and sometimes from Sweden. If you're a swedish native speaker, please don't hesitate to write to me in Swedish, I am currently learning the language and would love to practice this way too.
I'm a nerdy and sleepy enjoyer of postcards. I'm always looking forward to writing and receiving cards with whimsy, historical fact, magical or nerdy motives. Personally, I like sending illustrations rather than photographs, and would enjoy getting them too. If that's too vague, here's some topics I would enjoy seeing on the motive side of a card:
Halloween / Witchy / Spooky in general
Fantasy / Fairy / Mythical
Foxes / Wolves / Squirrels / Hedgehogs
Space / Astrology
Science, especially women in science
Bookrelated (in general like libraries, but also fantasy/romantasy)
Howls Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke
History / Archaeology / Artifacts / Museums / very old buildings
Snakes / Dragons
Small Birds
Pride and Prejudice
Apothecary Diaries
Illustrations from Inge Löök
Things that I especially enjoy reading about include (but are not limited to!):
cool, less known facts about your country
local food receipts
history and archaeology facts
a line from your favorite poem
any crafty hobbies you do or want to get into
the cryptid living in your area
If you live in Europe and have your local 2025 EUROPA stamps (the archaeology themed ones) available, I would be very grateful if you used one when sending me a card. This is of course not a must, just something that would make me very very happy.
